Children through the 3rd grade meet in the Godly Play Room at 9:45 am. Children will join their families for communion.
Because we have been blessed with so many children, we will be dividing Godly Play into 2 groups.
Group 1 - ages 3 to 7
Group 2 - ages 8 and up.
The older children will be meeting in the back of the Chapel.
The younger children will remain in the Godly Play Room. Anyone interested in becoming a doorkeeper or storyteller please contact Roni Kelly or Lori Harley.

St. James Prayer Chain is a vital ministry of our Church. By calling one person, Barbara Howell at 752-0124, you can ask a large number of people to pray for your concern. When there is a death in the church family or some other tragic event, the prayer chain may also be used to communicate with the parish family.
If you would like to be called to pray for the concerns of others, please call Barbara Howell to be added to the chain. Also if you are willing to call 4 or 5 people with a concern that has been placed on the prayer chain, let Barbara know that.
If you have an intercession that you would like printed in the bulletin, please call the church office, Monday or Wednesday between 9 am and 4 pm.

History of the Wounded Warrior Project The resulting objective was to provide tangible support for the severely wounded and help them on the road to healing, both physically and mentally. What had been initially viewed as a small contribution (compared with what the warriors had sacrificed while serving our country) has become WWP's signature program: "WWP backpacks delivered bedside to wounded warriors." Wounded Warrior Backpacks contain essential care and comfort items including clothing, toiletries, calling card and playing cards, all designed to make their hospital stay more comfortable. They are provided to severely wounded service members arriving at military trauma centers. A smaller version of the WWP Backpack, Transitional Care Packs are sent directly to Iraq and Afghanistan to provide immediate comfort during a warrior’s relocation to the U.S. military trauma center.
Wounded Warrior Project began one night when, while watching the evening news, a group of veterans and brothers were moved by the difficult stories of the first wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq. They realized then and there that something needed to be done for these brave individuals beyond the brass bands and ticker tape parades.
