Rev. Douglas Hodsdon
Although Fr. Doug grew up in New England, he has spent most of his life in North Carolina, including graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, being stationed there twice while in the Marine Corps, and serving in two parishes after graduating from seminary in 1984. He came to Florida in 2007 to be the rector of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Jacksonville. After retiring in 2011, he enjoyed a blissful year of relaxation with his wife, Debbie, before coming to St. James as a supply priest in September, 2012. Having become Interim Rector here in November of that year, he now refuses to leave. For this, we are very grateful.
Fr. Doug and Debbie have three sons: Brad (40), Ben (37), and Gray (24).
