Christian Formation for Youth

Christian Formation classes for our youth Grades 3 through 8 are held Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 9:45 in the Little Church.

We use the “Feasting on the Word” curriculum. It has many of the same elements that Godly Play does. We open and close each session with prayer and lighting a candle. The lesson each week is one of the readings for that particular Sunday, so the children will study it in Christian Formation and hear it again in Big Church. There are fun, hands on activities to help deepen the understanding of the lesson.We have three teachers and several assistants who rotate Sundays. We welcome all youth and any adult who wishes to volunteer.
