Inquirer’s Class

These classes are offered annually and are scheduled to conclude just prior to the annual visit of our Bishop. They serve as preparation for confirmation for those wanting to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church, but are also an opportunity for anyone who wants to learn more about the Episcopal Church to do so.

The sessions take place over a 6 – 8 week period, and cover such topics as: what we believe as Episcopalians, Scripture, the Sacraments, worship and the Book of Common Prayer, the structure of the Episcopal Church, the history of St. James, and its present ministries. Notice of the next series of Inquirer’s classes is normally given several months before they are to begin. Please contact us if you are interested in participating in this class.
