Youth Minister: Tracy Mitchell

We believe faith is formed early and grows best in a community of love, curiosity, and belonging. Our Children and Youth Formation ministries help young people encounter God in ways that are meaningful, creative, and age-appropriate, laying a foundation for a lifelong relationship with Christ.

Through Youth Group, students build friendships while growing in faith, service, and discipleship. Vacation Bible School (VBS) brings Scripture to life each summer through learning, play, music, and worship. Godly Play invites children into the story of God through wonder and storytelling, encouraging them to ask questions and discover God's presence in their lives. Storymakers helps younger children explore faith through creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning.

At St. James, we want every child to know they are welcomed, valued, and deeply loved by God. Together, these ministries help our youngest members discover that they are part of God's family, growing in faith as they learn to know Christ and share His love with others.

Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.
