Godly Play

This has been another exciting year for our Godly Play Program.

Godly Play is a ministry for the youngest members of our parish family. Each Sunday children aged two through third grade gather in the Godly Play Room adjacent to the Little Church at 10:00. Here a storyteller shares one of the stories of our faith and offers the children an opportunity to respond as they are led. We have a very light snack and the children join their parents for the Eucharist.

The children in Godly Play have heard the stories of the people of God. We have looked at how each of those stories connects with the child’s own experience and relationship to God.

Godly Play continues to be blessed with a group of caring and faithful story tellers and door keepers.

Because of the generosity of our parish family, we were able to add four new stories in 2015. It is so much fun to see the children engage with the new stories as well as the old ones.
