About St. James Episcopal Church:
Our charming historic church and rectory provide the backdrop for our welcoming community. We are Christians committed to fulfilling God’s Will by providing a home for people to worship and grow together, engaging and inspiring all generations, and bringing the never changing gospel to an ever-changing world. St. James is a parish family that worships God together, shares the Eucharist and responds to God’s call to serve the community. We are committed to look for the face of the Lord Jesus in everyone we meet and to serve others so that everyone we meet will see the face of the Lord Jesus in us. We have a committed Vestry and lay members who lead our many outreach programs. Music is a vital part of our parish, with a talented and faithful choir.
What We Seek:
In addition to traditional duties of preaching, pastoral care ,Christian Education, and administration, St. James seeks a new Rector who will lead and support us in the future and assist us in enhancing the priorities that we have identified in a recent Congregation Assessment Survey, CAT. The ideal candidate to minister to our parish will possess the following strengths:
